As tradition dictates around this time close to Christmas, the 25 women who make up the musical group 'Calicanto' celebrated their festival. The show was held this Saturday night at the Santo Domingo Convent, which was completely full.

Once again, they surprised the attendees with an impeccable staging as usual, with very varied designs that this time opted for black and white. In addition, they presented a renewed repertoire, involving the public who at all times sang and applauded each of their songs. Under the musical direction of Vanessa Rijo and the presidency of Raquel Aparicio, Calicanto achieved its goal, accompanied by eight friends and great musicians who were hand in hand at all times.

For such a special night, Calicanto had the collaboration of good friends from the island of La Palma, the group 'Son del Tilo', a group made up of nine members who base their musical repertoire on Latin rhythms such as the Cuban son, deeply rooted in the Isla Bonita, interspersed with cumbia and merengue. Latin rhythms that were well received by the public, who at all times supported them by humming their refrains accompanied by applause.

The night ended with the presentation of gifts to the collaborators and the final song performed by Calicanto and 'Son del Tilo' who put the finishing touch to an evening where the magic of Christmas was very present.
