The comedian Goyo Jiménez will perform at Jameos del Agua

The actor and monologist from Melilla will delight the audience in two sessions on November 15th and 16th.

The well-known comedian Goyo Jiménez will perform at the Jameos del Agua Auditorium, holding two comedy sessions of his show Misery Class. It will be on November 15th and 16th at 8:00 p.m.

This initiative is part of the II edition of the Ja, ja, ja, Jameos cycle, which opened its program last weekend with the resounding success of Luis Piedrahita, who delighted the audience that packed the volcanic tube transformed by César Manrique.

Now it's Goyo Jiménez's turn, without a doubt, one of the great monologists in this country. Tickets are already on sale on the platform.

 

Who is Goyo Jiménez?

From a very young age, he has worked as a professional theater actor, accumulating an extensive and fruitful career on stage. From those days are his participations in festivals inside and outside our borders, such as those of Almagro, Sardinia, Venice, Florence, Verona, Pisa, Romania, Slovenia, Bosnia, and Croatia.

He made the big leap to fame and popularity when he was selected to be part of the television program El Club de la Comedia. In parallel, and as a theater author and director, he has written and/or directed twelve productions, of which more than nine hundred performances have been made.

As for cinema, he has participated in numerous short films and has had cameos and roles in the feature films Clara, no es nombre de mujer; Torrente 4 and El Pregón.

On television, he has been part of numerous projects and formats, both in front of and behind the cameras. With monologues, he has stood out in the different participations he has made in Nuevos Cómicos (Paramount Comedy) and El Club de la Comedia, both on Canal Plus, Telecinco, TVE, and Antena 3, as well as in the last one, programmed on La Sexta. In addition, he has collaborated on the programs Esto no es serio (Antena 3), UHF (Antena 3), 59 segundos (TVE), Splunge (TVE), Zulú Bingo (Localia TV), El Club de Flo (La Sexta), La Hora Chanante (Paramount Comedy), Tres en Raya (La Sexta), Los Irrepetibles (La Sexta), 9 de cada 10 (TVE), Espejo Público (Antena 3), Pánico en el plató (Antena 3), Con Hache de Eva (La Sexta), and in the Gala Premios Ondas 2011.

He has been part of the creative team of the program La Hora de José Mota and in this same program, he created the character of Capitán Fanegas, the archenemy of Tío la Vara. He worked as a presenter on No le digas a mamá que trabajo en la tele (Cuatro TV). At the end of 2013, he premiered his own program Se Hace Saber, on TVE. He has recently presented and collaborated on the script of the TVE science outreach program, Órbita Laika, the new generation.

Goyo Jiménez's radio experience has been developed on Cadena 100 and Onda Cero, in Castilla-La Mancha. He has also worked on Radio Marca, a national broadcast. He has also been a member of El Tirachinas, La Jungla 4.0, and collaborates on Más de Uno.
