The Arrecife Carnival experienced a vibrant Wednesday night, full of color and fantasy with the spectacular rhythms and dances of the choreographies displayed on the stage of the Fairgrounds by the more than 200 members of the four groups participating in the Comparsas Exhibition.
Los Guaracheros, from the municipality of Tías; Los Timanfeiros, from the municipality of Yaiza; Sur Caliente, from Puerto del Carmen; and Los Cumbacheros, from Tahíche, offered a brilliant spectacle that evidenced the extraordinary level of the Lanzarotean troupes, which year after year raise the artistic bar of the Arrecife Carnival, with the careful design of their costumes, their innovative choreographies, and the power of their dance troupes.
Organized by the Festivals Area of the Arrecife City Council, headed by the city's deputy mayor, Echedey Eugenio, the gala was hosted by Techy Acosta, who was supported by Leandro Martín who, from the backstage, collected the impressions of the participants as they concluded their performances.
