The singer Cepeda, known for his time on 'Operación Triunfo 2017', will perform at 9:00 p.m. on the 'Big Day of Yaiza' on the occasion of the 'Los Remedios' festivities, a festivity that will be celebrated from this Friday, September 1, until September 8.
The 'Rubicón Festival', which will be part of the program of the opening night, dedicated this 2023 to 'Mararía', is one of the unmissable events of these festivities. It is "a more than consolidated meeting for being an authentic sample of singing, playing and dancing from the Islands that the 'Rubicón Folkloric Group' has been cultivating for more than a decade", informs the City Council.
For the first festive weekend we find the traditional pilgrimage on Saturday, September 2, adorned by pilgrims and groups of music and dance, and on Sunday, September 3, the 'Beer Festival', which offers live performances by the bands 'Salvapantallas', 'Inerxia', 'Sin Cobertura' and 'Expecta Band'. Also that same day, although later in the afternoon, it is time for the 'Choral Meeting' in the Church of Yaiza and then the comic interpretive performance of the Yaiza senior group will arrive.
These are just some of the events of the wide festive offer of the town that mixes popular music, children's days, artistic exhibition, workshops and sports, among other proposals. The Councilor for Festivities, Javier Camacho, encourages the people of Lanzarote to participate in them.
