The San Bartolomé City Council has presented the HeART project, a performing arts festival that will focus on sustainability through a multidisciplinary range of activities.
This new event, which will be held on October 21, 22 and 23 in the urban center of Playa Honda, aims for the municipality, and the island in general, to welcome the richness of all the participating cultural genres: popular music, theater, literature, cinema, dance and plastic arts.
Some of the artists that will make up the offer will be the Argentine clown and buffoon Chacovachi, the Chilean improviser Tuga, the conejera artist Acerina Toledo, the Catalan theater company Soledad and the comedy group Abubukaka.
They will be joined by local groups such as Aspercan, Tribarte, Espacio Mujer, Tercera Edad Playa Honda, IES Playa Honda, IES San Bartolomé, CEIPs El Quintero, Ajei, María Auxiliadora and Playa Honda. In the coming days, the complete program of the event will be available.
Cultural promotion for San Bartolomé
'HeART' is an initiative that was born from public-private-social collaboration and is in line with the cultural promotion plan of San Bartolomé. In this way, through the participation of the local cultural industry, it is possible to implement projects based on the circular economy and sustainability.
