The Arrecife City Council has organized a successful children's and primary education parade during the Carnival week for seven schools in the capital.
The schoolchildren have left their respective educational centers, CEIP Capellanía, Argana Alta, Benito Méndez, Antonio Zerolo, Adolfo Topham, La Destila and Nieves Toledo, and have paraded through various streets of Arrecife to the rhythm of their own music.
The mayoress of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, congratulates the work of the Councilor for Education “for the excellent organization in this activity that has brought thousands of children out onto the streets with their original costumes and their best smiles.”
For her part, Saro González wanted to thank “the management teams of the educational centers of Arrecife who have successfully participated in the parades for their involvement in this activity. The children have enjoyed it a lot and have celebrated this activity with great enthusiasm, giving these parties the color and joy that characterizes them.”
