The Teguise City Council, through the Youth Area, offered two sessions of the youth Christmas musical The Journey of Dreams, in the municipal tent of La Villa, this Saturday, January 4, which received more than 1,400 people.
The mayor of Teguise, Olivia Duque, assured that this musical is the result of the effort and passion of our young people, "who with their dedication have managed to create a show that excites the public." "We are very proud to see how this project continues to grow and consolidate as one of the most beloved events of our Christmas," she said.
For his part, the Councilor for Youth Andoni Machín added that this activity is a clear example of what young people can achieve when they have the opportunity to show their talent. "This show is a tradition that has become a must for families in Teguise and Lanzarote," he clarified.
This cultural project, which has been part of the Christmas program for more than 17 years, aims to offer the community a unique show starring young people, showing their skills in music, dance and theater. The musical is an opportunity to promote creativity, collaboration and teamwork, and has the participation of more than 60 young talents.
The function tells the story of Lucía, a curious girl who travels to a magical world to save the Factory of Dreams and offers the public an experience full of music, choreography and fantasy.
