The Tías City Council and the Cabildo of Lanzarote have announced the incorporation of a special bus service for the 'Fiestas del Carmen' that will take place during this and next weekend, specifically, on 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 August.
For this weekend, August 4, 5 and 6, Line 2 will be enabled from Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen with several round trip buses on a schedule from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., the City Council reports. Also for next weekend, August 11, 12 and 13, the same round trip bus line will be made available to the people of Lanzarote again with the same schedule.
Regarding the route between Puerto del Carmen and Tías (interior of Tías) both weekends, four additional services of Line 34 will be enabled, starting at 4:30 a.m., departing from the Costa Volcán stop and making the usual route.
The service fee will be that corresponding to the application of the current traveler-kilometer rate for that line. It should be remembered that due to the characteristics of the service, the City Council must have the presence of the Local Police, in order to establish order in the event of any incident that may occur during the provision of the service.
