Lanzarote Airport, filming set for the movie 'The Family'

The filming of this film on the island will conclude this week after a month and a half of filming, as will the film 'Maret'

Terminal 2 of Lanzarote Airport has become this Monday the shooting set for the movie 'The Family'.

The recording team of this film, by German director Sönke Worthman, disembarked on the island in mid-February, with the purpose of filming almost entirely this film in Lanzarote. After a month and a half on the island, filming will conclude this week.

Also, this week will also come to an end in Lanzarote the filming of the movie 'Maret', by the Luxembourgish director Laura Schroeder, which started on March 1st touring various locations, including Caleta de Famara.

It should be remembered that at the beginning of March, up to four shootings coincided in Lanzarote since, in addition to these two films, the island was the set for the series 'Welcome to Eden' from Netflix and 'Foundation, a project based on the work of Isaac Asimov that is one of the releases planned by the Apple TV platform for this year.
