Joaquín Reyes, Marta Robles, Jesús Cintora, José Luis Correa, Amparanoia, César Bona and Héctor Abad are some of the many authors who will be present at "La Fiera del Libro", the name given to the Lanzarote Island Book Fair.
As announced last month at a press conference, this event with literature will take place from April 27 to 30 in the Plaza de Los Remedios in the municipality of Yaiza, coinciding with the commemoration of the centenary of the birth of the writer Rafael Arozarena and the 50th anniversary of the publication of "Mararía", his best-known work.
The Island Book Fair will have five spaces in which there will be different activities for children and young people as well as for adults.
In addition to different talks and book presentations, there will be bookmark workshops, storytelling workshops and even rap workshops. There will also be a documentary screening, a horror panel, and shows and concerts by Miss Raisa, Amparo Sánchez (Amparanoia) and Alberto y García. As a closing event, and in this case in the Auditorium of Jameos del Agua, you can enjoy a monologue by Joaquín Reyes on Sunday, April 30, starting at 8:00 p.m.
The Island Book Fair is organized by the Isla Literaria association, with the support of the Education and Culture areas of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the collaboration of the Yaiza City Council.
The entire detailed program, with any updates that may arise, can be consulted on the social networks of the Island Book Fair (Instagram and Facebook: @lafieradellibrolanzarote).
