The popular music group "El Pavón" from Tías, participated on Monday night in the program "Navidad Isleña", organized by the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The concert, which lasted an hour, took place in the park of the seaside neighborhood of Vallterra.
For the 25 members of "El Pavón" it was the first time they performed in a neighborhood since its foundation in 1992. The public welcomed them with great affection, applauding each of the songs that were performed during the concert; a musical repertoire based on traditional Christmas carols with Canarian roots such as "Pastor Palmero", "Esta noche es noche Buena", "Ven conmigo pastorcillo", "Ya nació Jesús", "El burrito Manuel" or "Navidad".
The members of the musical group were led by Professor Mel Reyes and left the pavilion with spirits high. The public was at all times engaged and eager to party and asked "El Pavón" to continue singing.
"El Pavón", which recently celebrated 30 years since its foundation, is very excited to prepare a program of events for 2023. The music group thanks all the members for their commitment because they have contributed to the mission that was projected at the beginning to continue forward and also recognize the family support, very important, and that of the public, which has followed him in each of his concerts sheltering him with their applause.
