The Tías Town Council presents a special program that combines tradition, culture, and family leisure to celebrate Halloween and the Noche de Finaos. The activities, organized by the Departments of Culture and Commerce, led by Pepa González and Miriam Hernández, will take place from October 28 to 31 in different parts of the municipality, with proposals for all ages.

The celebrations will begin on Tuesday, October 28 in Tías, with children's workshops starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Plaza Leandro Fajardo, by the associations La Barrilla and Maramar. At 7:30 p.m. the Halloween Parade will take place, with the participation of Anmy Rodríguez, Beatrice Senent, CAEL, the Chimbay batucada and the horror characters of M&G.

The route will start from Leandro Fajardo Square, next to the Hermitage of San Antonio, and will continue along the central avenue Alcalde Florencio Suárez, the streets Libertad, Fraternidad and San Antonio, to return to the square. The day will culminate with the House of Fear at the Municipal Theater of Tías, organized by the Los Burgaos association.

On Wednesday, October 29, the party will move to Puerto del Carmen, with children's workshops in Plaza de El Varadero at 5:30 p.m., by the Maramar association. At 7:30 p.m. the Halloween Parade will be held, with the same artistic cast, touring Calle Bajamar, Avenida El Varadero and Calle Tenerife, ending in Plaza de El Varadero. There, at 8:00 p.m., the House of Fear, organized by MG Eventos, will open its doors.

On Thursday, October 30, Tías will revive tradition with the celebration of Noche de Finaos, at 6:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Iglesia de San Antonio. The evening will include a theatrical performance of Finaos with the company Actúa, which will offer a performance with five stops and references to historical figures in the Canary Islands.

The Tías School of Folk Music will also perform, and a popular tasting will be offered with roasted chestnuts, mistela, cheese, dried figs and roscas, in an atmosphere of intergenerational coexistence.

Friday, October 31st will be a particularly intense day. In the center of Tías, the Halloween Parade will depart at 5:30 p.m. from the House of Culture, going through Luchada and Libertad streets, and Alcalde Florencio Suárez central avenue, to finish at Leandro Fajardo square.

Next, the awards ceremony for the window display contest and Circus of Terror will take place, and between 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., you can enjoy the Tunnel of Terror, with access via a ticket obtained for purchases in the shops of the Tías Open Commercial Zone.

That same afternoon, the young public will be the protagonist in the Youth Space of El Pavón square, where the Halloween Youth program will take place from 5:00 p.m., with creative workshops, thematic games such as the terror gymkhana, the raffle of fear, the mummy race or "Pin the fang on the vampire". The afternoon will culminate with a photocall of fear, thematic refreshments and the performance of DJ Julen Silva at 8:00 p.m.

The Tías Town Hall appreciates the collaboration of the associations La Barrilla, Maramar, Los Burgaos, MG Eventos, CAEL, and the Chimbay batucada, as well as the involvement of local businesses, the Tías Business and SMEs Association, and youth groups, and the institutional support of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Government of the Canary Islands.
