The municipality of Yaiza is ready to receive the visit of the Three Wise Men this Tuesday, January 5, an exciting tour that Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar plan to make by vehicle, together with their royal pages, through each of the towns in the municipality in order to avoid crowds and agglomerations, thus complying with the security protocol against covid-19. The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, and the Councilor for Festivities, Javier Camacho, will hand over the keys of the municipality to Their Majesties from the East, at ten in the morning, in the wine-growing landscape of La Geria, so that the Kings can then begin their magical route through Yaiza, which residents can consult on the cover banner of yaiza.es.
The tour of the tourist town of Playa Blanca starts at 10:00 a.m. from Faro Pechiguera, passing through Montaña Roja and the town center, until reaching Las Coloradas. Also at 10:00 a.m. the route begins through all the towns of Yaiza. From La Geria, the Kings go to Uga, Puerto Calero, Playa Quemada, Las Casitas, Femés, Maciot, Las Breñas, La Hoya, El Golfo and Yaiza. The royal entourage will inform through the Facebook of the City Council the location of the route to prevent families from the different locations.
Óscar Noda and Javier Camacho already thank the citizens for their collaboration and the support of the Local Police and Civil Protection Yaiza. “This year we could not organize the traditional parades in Yaiza and Playa Blanca, nor can the Kings hand out sweets, but Their Majesties from the East will distribute a lot of hope and bring joy to every corner of our municipality,” say the public officials.
