Conil will enjoy its traditional festivities in honor of La Magdalena and the Sacred Heart of Jesus from July 23 to August 1, with numerous events that will include Canarian wrestling, workshops, pilgrimage, theater and taifa and candil dance, among others.
The festivities will kick off this Saturday at 10:00 p.m. with a concert by the groups Graduado Escolar and Treinta Y Tantos and an envite championship.
The following day, Sunday, July 24, will be the religious service and a procession, accompanied by the Unión Musical de Lanzarote band, starting at 12:30 p.m. The event will end with a performance by the Los Buches group, followed by the Mácher theater group with the play El Diván at 8:00 p.m.
The program of events also includes a storytelling session on Wednesday the 27th at six in the afternoon by Maraba Hernández, with the play Al Soslayo de Ona y Piocho and a chinchón championship that same day two hours later.
For Thursday, the VI Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Sepúlveda El Majorero Memorial is scheduled to be held at 7:00 p.m., a women's Canarian wrestling match between the US Yaiza and CL Tinajo teams on the esplanade of Juan Ramón's bar, and, an hour later, there will be a mixed round championship.
The day on Friday will begin at nine o'clock at night with the Gala Drag Show and will continue at eleven with the verbena enlivened by the Banda 7Jarvac orchestra, while on Saturday at 12 there will be first aid workshops and an exhibition of material, ambulances and cars by Boluntis.

That same day there will also be, at 6:00 p.m., the pilgrimage with offerings from the church of Conil to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and at 8:30 p.m. the XV Juan Ramón Rodríguez Sepúlveda folklore meeting is planned with performances by the Gaida and Guágaro groups. The night will end after the celebration of the XII Baile de Tafia y Candil from eleven o'clock with the Ahí va la cosa and Pal´porrón groups.
The festivity will continue on Sunday at noon with the foam party and inflatables enlivened by the Los Conejeros duo, followed by the rosette workshop at four, the children's recycling workshop at five and the family circus-theater by the Comedia DeSastre company and its show El Último Tren at 6:30 p.m.
Finally, the festivities will end on Monday, August 1 with a tortilla and dessert contest, and a subsequent tasting from 8:00 p.m., followed by a popular barbecue from 9:00 p.m.
