Biosfera TV premieres the program-contest “Saber de César”, aimed at secondary school students

From January 23 to April 24, a total of 11 teams made up of 3rd year ESO students will show their knowledge about the life, work, thought and time in which César Manrique lived

Biosfera Televisión premieres this Monday, January 23, at 8:00 p.m., “Saber de César” a TV contest, of cultural theme, designed for secondary school students from Lanzarote centers to delve into everything that surrounded, and surrounds, the universe of César Manrique, one of the fundamental protagonists of Canarian art and one of the pioneering references of the last century in the relations between art and nature as well as in public awareness for the environmental and territorial sustainability of our Islands, in general, and of Lanzarote, in particular.

A total of 11 teams from the IES Agustín Espinosa, Blas Cabrera Felipe, Las Maretas, Costa Teguise, Yaiza, CEO Argana and Colegio Arenas Internacional, formed by four students each, will face various tests around the life, work, thought and time in which César Manrique lived.

The contest is a production of the César Manrique Foundation (FCM) and Biosfera Televisión. All content has been developed by a team of teachers and art specialists and supervised by the FCM.

In the tests, students will have to demonstrate skills related to writing texts, oral expression, crafts and audiovisual language. Adapted to their educational level.

The first installment of “Saber de César” will be double: at 8:00 p.m. it premieres with the Colegio Arenas Internacional-IES Agustín Espinosa “A” program and, immediately afterwards, the IES Blas Cabrera Felipe “B”-CEO Argana “B”. From then on, every Monday, at 8:00 p.m., Saber de César will be on air.
