After a short break motivated by the presentation of her album 'Viento', the singer Beni Ferrer returned with her show 'DesEnamorados' (DisEnamored), choosing an emblematic place in the city of Arrecife, the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz, for her presentation.
The event took place in two acts, one at 7:00 p.m. and the other at 9:00 p.m., and featured an important cast of musicians such as Salvador Pérez, Ivanhoe Rodríguez, Maxi Ferrer and Urbano Bernal, who were also joined by the voices of the soloists, Valentin Fernández, Asenet Padrón, Mariola Ferrer and Eva Díaz.
In addition, the concert consisted of three parts. The first, called 'Heartbreak', began with the classic 'Ave María', at which time a young couple made their entrance on stage accompanied by a pastor in charge of uniting them in marriage, each ending up on their own. Then songs of heartbreak were heard such as 'Que te vaya bonito' or 'Tres veces te engañé' (I cheated on you three times).
In the second part, under the title of 'Tierra' (Land), songs with Canarian roots were heard, such as the popular 'Campesina' (Peasant Woman), 'Seguidilla', 'Malagueña' or 'La Cantera' (The Quarry).
The third part was dedicated 'To Love', as could not be otherwise due to the proximity to Valentine's Day. Thus, songs such as 'Las luces del olvido' (The lights of oblivion), 'Estrellita viajera' (Traveling Little Star) and 'Hasta que la voz me dure' (Until my voice lasts) were heard, ending the concert with the encore 'El último trago' (The Last Drink).
The public, who filled the capacity of the House of Culture, enjoyed and applauded throughout the concert, where once again Beni Ferrer was able to demonstrate that, with work, the programmed goals can be achieved.
