Arrecife schools will fill the capital with rhythm and color with their carnival parades

The City Council asks residents and drivers to respect the signage and not to park or drive their vehicles on the sections of the different routes to guarantee safety and the correct development of the school activity

The Department of Education of the Arrecife City Council, led by Abigail González, announces the celebration of the school parades on the occasion of the 2025 School Carnival. As is traditional, the different educational centers of the capital will tour the streets closest to each one, filling the municipality with joy and color.

On Thursday, February 27, the CEIP Argana Alta will make its route from 9:00 to 11:00 hours from Campoamor Street, passing through Luján Pérez, Alonso Quesada, Agustín Ayala, Mazurca, Santiago Amón, Alonso Quesada again, Tajaraste and ending in Campoamor. Subsequently, the CEIP Antonio Zerolo will depart from Guenia Street from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, advancing through Tofio, Elguinaguaria, Tagoror, Peñas del Chache, Aniagua and returning to Guenia.

On Friday, February 28, the CEIP Capellanía del Yágabo will begin its route from 9:00 to 10:30 hours on Doctor Severo Ochoa Street, continue along Juan Luzardo, Doctor Puigvert and Félix El Zapatero to the point of arrival. The CEIP Titerroy will travel from 10:30 to 12:00 hours along Doctor Gregorio Chil y Naranjo Street, continue along Camino Doctor Rodríguez de La Fuente, Tilama and return along Doctor Gregorio Chil y Naranjo. For its part, the CEO Argana will start on Santiago Alemán Street from 12:00 to 13:30 hours, advance along Crispín Corujo and end again in Santiago Alemán.

On Thursday, March 6, the CEIP La Destila will depart from El Daute Street from 9:00 to 11:00 hours, continue along La Inés, Cabo Juby, El Rubicón and end in El Daute. Later, the CEIP Benito Méndez will begin its parade on Doctor Severo Ochoa Street from 11:00 to 13:00 hours, travel along La Niña, Hernández Pacheco, Doctor Gregorio Marañón, La Santa María and return to Doctor Severo Ochoa.

On Friday, March 7, the CEIP Adolfo Tophan will depart from Doctor Gómez Ulla Street from 9:00 to 11:00 hours, advance along Apolo, Costa Rica, cross the Rambla Medular and end its route. Subsequently, the CEIP Nieves Toledo will carry out its parade from 11:00 to 13:00 hours following the same route.

During the celebration of each parade, Councilor Abigail González will accompany the centers on their route, sharing the carnival activity with students and teachers.

To guarantee safety and the correct development of the event, the installation of circumstantial signage prohibiting parking will be carried out in various sections of the municipality.

Citizens are recommended to avoid parking and circulating around schools during school hours during the days of celebration of the parades and are requested to respect the signage and parking restrictions established 24 hours in advance to avoid inconveniences and contribute to the success of the event.
