The Sunset Festival Canarias, a campaign that promotes the revitalization of commerce through music, arrives this weekend in Arrecife. An event that has as headliner the performance of the Andalusian duo Andy y Lucas, who celebrate their XX anniversary, next Saturday, October 22 in the Islas Canarias park.
However, the Festival will start this Saturday, October 15 at 8:00 p.m., in the Islas Canarias park with the “Tribute Night”, to the group El Canto del Loco and Juan Luis Guerra.
The Festival will end next Sunday, October 23, at 12:00 p.m., with the children's concert of the group “La Banda de los Piojillos”, which will carry out a series of activities for the little ones in the municipality.
“We are delighted that music is felt in Arrecife, and the arrival of this Festival is one more example of the commitment of this Government group to culture in the capital”, says the mayor of Arrecife, Astrid Pérez, who also invites all the residents of the municipality to enjoy these concerts.
For his part, Raúl Rivero, manager of the organizing production company Raúl Rivero Asociados, assures that “it is a pleasure to be in a city like Arrecife within the Sunset Festival program”, and greatly appreciates “the predisposition and collaboration of the Arrecife City Council”.
The Tourism area of the Arrecife City Council collaborates in the celebration of this festival, promoted by the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism Businessmen of Las Palmas, and organized by the Government of the Canary Islands with the aim of promoting the revitalization of local commerce on the islands.
