The Duty Court in San Bartolomé de Tirajana (number two) has released Marco Antonio Navarro Tacoronte, alias 'The Mediator', who was arrested this morning after an arrest warrant issued by the Court of Instruction number 4 of Arrecife.
The court of San Bartolomé has notified him of the order for the opening of the oral trial against him in Arrecife for alleged crimes of theft and fraud. The investigated had a search and capture order for not attending the appointments that were sent to his home to notify him of information related to the reference procedure.
In the framework of this investigation, allegedly the investigated had arranged to have dinner with an acquaintance and during the meeting he stole his wallet, using the credit cards of this person to make different expenses.
The Civil Guard arrested Navarro in a hotel in Vecindario (Santa Lucía de Tirajana, Las Palmas) this Tuesday and placed him at the disposal of the nearest duty court, being released after notifying him of all the communications he had pending in reference to this matter.
