The judge has released on bail the 39-year-old man who was arrested by the Local Police as the alleged perpetrator of the fire in a house with his mother inside.

The man is being investigated as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of arson. In addition, the mother has denied that her son had tried to harm her and has not filed a complaint, according to the TSJC press office.

As will be recalled, the event occurred this Tuesday in the area known as Cien Viviendas, after the arrested man allegedly set fire to his room, where, as La Voz learned, five weapons were found: a machete, three knives and a razor.

The man had been demanding money from his mother for several days to buy drugs, according to sources speaking to Efe. In addition, as La Voz has published, the man would have a crisis derived from his relationship with drugs. It was the detainee's sister who alerted Emergencias because she was allegedly receiving threats from her brother, but when the agents arrived at the house they discovered the fire.
