The 31-year-old man who was arrested this past Monday in Arrecife accused of having committed several robberies in San Bartolomé and Arrecife has been released provisionally with charges. The alleged perpetrator of the robbery at the Juncar bookstore, at the Molina de José María Gil, both in San Bartolomé, or the Deco Hogar store in Arrecife, among others, has the obligation to sign in court on the 1st and 15th of each month and is accused of the continued crimes of robbery with force and damages.

This resident of San Bartolomé had been arrested by the National Police after allegedly committing a robbery at the Deco Hogar store in Arrecife, where he allegedly took 700 euros and several thefts in vehicles. After that, he is accused of having committed robberies in six vehicles in the capital, breaking the left window and forcing the lock of the cars. In addition, he has no criminal record.

Days later, in the early morning of January 4, this same man is accused of having broken into the Juncar bookstore in San Bartolomé to steal. At the time of the events, a local police patrol car arrived at the premises, and the man ran away. Although he fled and the agents could not reach him, he was identified and the proceedings were transferred to the Civil Guard.

In addition, he is also related to the robbery at the Molina de José María Gil and in different vehicles in San Bartolomé.

When the Benemérita proceeded to arrest this individual, he realized that the National Police had already arrested him for the alleged crimes committed in Arrecife.
