Section Six of the Provincial Court of Las Palmas will try a man in Arrecife next week accused of distributing and selling various types of drugs from his home in the capital of Lanzarote.
The Public Prosecutor's Office attributes to U.B.B., with no prior criminal record, the authorship of a crime against public health in its form of substances that cause serious damage to health. Thus, the Prosecutor's Office assures that he acted "with total disregard for individual and collective health" allegedly selling heroin, cannabis, cocaine and hashish in his house.
On November 19, 2022, a Court in Arrecife agreed to the entry and search of the property during the early morning. That night the agents seized several packages of heroin, cannabis resin and cocaine. In total, the seized drugs would have amounted to 35,408.39 euros. In addition, they also seized 430 euros in cash.
The Prosecutor's Office requests five and a half years in prison, special disqualification for the exercise of the right to passive suffrage and a fine of 60,000 euros.
