The defendant accused of attempting to introduce one kilo of heroin and another of cocaine in Lanzarote in February 2020 has confessed this Tuesday to the facts before the Sixth Section of the Provincial Court, after reaching a settlement agreement with the Prosecutor's Office. Thus, the trial has not been held and a sentence will be handed down with the penalties accepted by the defendant.

Initially, the Public Prosecutor's Office requested eight years in prison and a fine of 791,775.376 euros, but under the agreement it has been reduced to six years and one day in prison and a fine of 195,943 euros. The agreement implies that the ruling will become final, without any appeals being possible.
