The Ministry of Universities of the Canary Islands, led by Migdalia Machín from Lanzarote, has extended the deadline until October 10 for the submission of applications for scholarships and grants to study official university degrees and master's degrees during the academic year 2023/2024.
The call, which originally closed on September 30, offers scholarships to study at any public university located in Spanish territory.
These scholarships are intended to "cover the expenses derived from the payment of public prices for tuition, transportation and residence of university higher education."
The scholarships from the Government of the Canary Islands to which this call refers establish academic requirements lower than the university scholarships called by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. For example, they raise certain income thresholds with respect to those of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
You can consult the complete bases on the website of the Government of the Canary Islands. In addition, the application form can be downloaded from the website of the General Directorate of Universities and Research and on the Electronic Headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The submission of these applications will be made exclusively electronically, and it is necessary for the applicant students to have any electronic signature system.
