The Andalusian hotel chain Senator Hotels & Resorts has confirmed that Lanzarote is one of the destinations in which it wants to have a hotel before the end of the decade.
The leading company in the hotel sector in Andalusia has presented an ambitious expansion plan to consolidate its presence in the national and international market.
Senator Hotels has 39 establishments in Spain with nearly 8,000 rooms spread across Andalusia, Valencia, Madrid, Catalonia, Murcia and the Balearic Islands, as well as two other hotels in the Dominican Republic.
The vice president and CEO of Senator Hotels stated that the company's goal is to reach 60 establishments in 2029. In its sights are, in addition to Lanzarote, three other Canary Islands: Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Fuerteventura.
In 2025, it plans to debut in Morocco with the Senator Babilonia, in Dakhla. The following year, they will take over the management of two more hotels in Mahón (Menorca).
