The average hotel rate in Lanzarote during 2024 reached 134 euros per night, 10.8% higher than the previous year, according to a report by the Canadian consultancy Colliers, which specializes in financial and real estate investments.
This percentage growth was the highest among the islands. Next, the average hotel rate that grew the most was that of Tenerife, 10.6% to 143 euros.
Among the hotels in Gran Canaria, the average growth was 9.7% to 141 euros.
In Fuerteventura, the most moderate increase in prices was experienced, 4% to an average of 114 euros.
Despite the fact that the hotel occupancy in Lanzarote decreased slightly last year (0.4%), it remained at 88%, and was once again the highest in the Canary Islands.
However, the hotels in Gran Canaria were very close to reaching that mark, as they remained at an occupancy of 86% after growing by 2.5%.
In Tenerife, it remained unchanged compared to the previous year at 84%, while in Fuerteventura it rose 4.7 points to reach 82%.
