During the past month of July, 84.3% of the tourist places in Lanzarote's accommodations were occupied, according to the Data Center of Lanzarote based on the latest Survey of Tourist Accommodation of the Canary Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).

Lanzarote had already achieved the best occupancy data in March, April, May and June. Last July, it once again obtained the highest percentage of the entire Canary archipelago.

In second place, the accommodations in Tenerife reached an occupancy of 79.62%. Those in Fuerteventura obtained 73.74% and were in third place.

The occupancy obtained by Lanzarote's tourist accommodations is slightly lower than that reached in the same month last year, then it was 84.9%, but this year 2,230 more places have been made available to travelers than there were in July last year, up to a total of 64,757.

Although occupancy has been high in Lanzarote every month of 2023, exceeding at least 70%, it was in July when, for the first time this year, the rate of 80% has been exceeded.
