Coastal holiday destinations close 2025 with better performance than urban destinations (+3.9%), thanks to generalized revenue growth (up 7.0% year-to-date through November), according to the latest report from Perspectivas Turísticas by Exceltur, the group that brings together the country's leading tourism companies.

Lanzarote's hotels increased their profitability per room by 10.2% in 2025, the largest growth in the Canary Islands, reaching 127.8 euros.

The profitability of hotels in Lanzarote, with the exception of Barcelona and San Sebastián, also surpasses all urban destinations, including the city of Madrid, whose hotels increased their profitability by 9.1% to 127.2 euros.

The only Spanish island where profitability increased more than in Lanzarote was **Menorca, specifically by 13% to 135.6** euros.Meanwhile, hotels in **Tenerife** increased their profitability by 3.8% in 2025 to 124 euros per room and those in **Fuerteventura** by 2.9% to 96.9 euros
