Historic record of hotel revenue in Lanzarote: more than 800 million euros in 2025

They did it with fewer tourists than the previous year, 460,000 fewer overnight stays, and only a few more employees. Compared to 2019, it's almost 300 million euros more

Lanzarote's hotels have earned 801 million euros in 2025, a 3.5% increase compared to what they earned the previous year, according to data released by the Lanzarote Data Center. 

With regard to pre-pandemic data, hotel revenues in Lanzarote have grown by 58.6%. In 2019, they earned 505 million euros.

During 2025, the island's hotel establishments hosted 1.77 million tourists who made 12.20 million overnight stays, compared to 1.79 million tourists the previous year, who stayed 12.66 million nights. 

The average rate last year in Lanzarote's hotels reached 142.40 euros per night, 6.12% higher than in 2024 when it stood at 133.68 euros. 

Occupancy rose almost a point, from 85.94% in 2024 to 86.8% last year.

Regarding employment in Lanzarote's hotels, staff numbers increased by 1.6%, meaning 161 more employees in 2025 than the previous year, reaching 10,012 workers.
