The relaxation of the restrictions imposed by COVID-19 in its new omicron variant is driving the progressive recovery of demand, which is leading airlines to increase their offer taking advantage of the opportunities presented by the market.
Binter will expand its connections between the Canary Islands and Madeira during Holy Week, scheduling four extra frequencies on the routes between the Portuguese island and Gran Canaria and Tenerife, to meet the increase in demand during that holiday period.
The airline has scheduled two additional frequencies on Sunday, April 10, one with Gran Canaria and the other with Tenerife, and two more on each route for the following Sunday, April 17. These connections are in addition to the weekly flights that the airline operates regularly, on Mondays and Fridays from the first and Tuesdays and Saturdays from the second.
On Sundays, April 10 and 17, a flight will depart from Funchal to Gran Canaria at 09:45 hours and return at 12:00 hours. At 14:15 hours a flight will depart from the Portuguese archipelago to Tenerife, with a return at 16:20 hours.
