Another demonstration is called to "clean up the bad image" of tourism in Lanzarote

This is a concentration contrary to the one that will be carried out on the same day by the platform 'Lanzarote has a limit' and whose purpose is to request measures to control mass tourism.

On October 20th, a demonstration will take place with the slogan Let's Take Care of Tourism with the aim of demanding that the citizens of Lanzarote "want tourists to feel comfortable on our island and visit us without any worries."

This is a demonstration against the one that will be carried out on the same day by the platform Lanzarote has a limit and whose purpose is to request measures to control mass tourism.

According to the organizers of Let's Take Care of Tourism, "we have given a bad image to our potential visitors who, when choosing a destination, will opt for another one where they are well received."

In addition, they ask that "at this point, we speak properly and do not step on our main productive sector in the way that some platforms do."

Likewise, with the demonstration they want to "make it clear that there is much to improve in order to receive tourists in the best possible way, adding value and not the opposite," they say.

Some of the points that will be discussed in the concentration are the queues at Los Centros and to catch taxis due to "bad management"; the lack of security, maintenance of municipal facilities, transport in the municipalities of the interior of the island; the occupied buildings next to hotel complexes; the misinformation on platforms that "are generating a bad image" as a destination and the lack of public housing.
