Canary Islands encourages with up to 8,000 euros per person contracts to unemployed people

The agency is calling for three grants for the employment of long-term unemployed, with professional certificate and young people

The Canarian Employment Service (SCE) has called three programs with aid for the labor hiring of unemployed groups that range between 3,000 and 8,000 euros per person during the 2022-2023 financial year.

Published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC), the resolutions signed by the councilor Elena Máñez, president of the SCE, contemplate aid in a competitive concurrence regime with a total budget of 900,000 euros, with the possibility of extending the credit in the three calls.

Specifically, the SCE announces the program of incentives for the labor hiring of long-term unemployed people Return to Employment for a global amount of 300,000 euros (150,000 per year), with variable amounts depending on the type of contract and 1,000 euros more in the case of women or over 45 years of age.

The autonomous body also convenes the program of incentives for the labor hiring of unemployed people with a professional certificate "Certifícate", with an initial budget identical to the previous aid.

Finally, the BOC also publishes the program of incentives for the labor hiring of young unemployed people "Incentívate", with the same expandable credit (300,000 euros, 150,000 per year) and amounts per person of 3,000 to 5,000 euros depending on the contract plus 500 euros for groups with disabilities and victims of gender violence.
