The Tourist Centers have indicated that during the first two quarters of 2022 they have obtained a profit of almost 4 million euros. Specifically, they presented a positive result of 3,965,011.08 euros during the past month of August.
Sales reached 6.1 million euros, in addition to providing services worth 13.8 million euros during the first eight months of the year, thus raising the turnover above 20 million euros.
"These are figures that will allow us to distribute a historical fee to continue generating wealth and well-being among the population and the municipalities of the island," said the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Board of Directors of the Tourist Centers, María Dolores Corujo.
On the other hand, the reductions in expenses in chapters 4, which refers to the supplies of merchandise, raw materials and other consumable materials, and 7, Other operating expenses, stand out.
The CEO of the entity, Benjamín Perdomo, explained that this "is the result of the work, professionalism and effort of a staff dedicated to a model that applies logic, coherence, honesty and common sense in the management and control of current spending."
Perdomo is confident that "this effort by everyone will allow the Cabildo to receive a historical fee, once the year is closed, and clarify any doubts that some political formations may have in this regard."
