The GES helicopter has located and rescued unharmed a paraglider who had fallen the previous night in the Risco de Famara.
It was a family member who notified the Emergency services that the paraglider of Austrian nationality had fallen in that area and could not contact him.
From the Cecoes, Firefighters, Civil Protection and agents of the Local Police of the municipality were activated and carried out a search well into the night without obtaining results.
Early this Sunday morning, the search has been reactivated with the helicopter that has located and rescued the paraglider unharmed. He has been transferred to the Guacimeta airport where the family has taken charge.
