The Cabildo of Lanzarote opens the period to apply for subsidies to cover the operating expenses of livestock farms in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. The president and councilor of the Primary Sector of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, highlights that the purpose of the aid is to improve the profitability of these farms, helping farmers to cover certain expenses, such as animal feed, water transport or investment in fuel and electricity, among others.

Likewise, the amount of the subsidy will be 50% of the cost of the activity and the period of execution of the expense from 01/01/2023 to 04/30/2024.
