The Cabildo of Lanzarote has received a visit from a delegation of businessmen from Ireland to promote relations and investments on the island.

The Councilor of the Presidency of the Cabildo, Andrés Stinga, held a meeting with the Irish delegation, as well as with representatives of Proexca, the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa and the Lanzarote Ireland Network (LIN) association.

The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, highlighted the importance of "strengthening relations with the Irish market, one of our main visitors and a country that has multiple business opportunities that can be developed on our island thanks to public-private collaboration."

For his part, Stinga welcomed the Irish representatives and assured that "the meeting was very fruitful for the interests of both agents, both for businessmen to know the numerous tax advantages, connectivity and quality of life of Lanzarote for the creation of new businesses, and for Lanzarote to benefit from the fresh and different ideas that these bring from their country."

Finally, the delegation of businessmen carried out a visit to the Marina Innova Hub so that they know the environment, followed by a meeting with local businessmen to present their ideas and generate possible alliances.
