Iberia Express has increased its number of flights with Lanzarote for this summer, with which there will be up to 20 weekly flights per direction between Lanzarote and Madrid, which means three daily flights between Guacimeta and the capital, "with optimized schedules that facilitate the best connections with the more than 100 destinations of the Iberia Group".
"This commitment to Lanzarote is part of a broader strategy throughout the Canary archipelago." The company is also improving connectivity with Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Palma and Tenerife, reaching 370 weekly flights, consolidating a true air bridge between the Canary Islands and the Peninsula.
Both the number of frequencies and the schedules that Iberia Express has programmed between Lanzarote and Madrid facilitate connections with the entire network of national and international destinations of the Iberia group, which favors the arrival of high-value visitors to the island from other markets and, for residents, improves their international connectivity for the summer holidays.
“At a moment of widespread uncertainty, we reaffirm our commitment and commitment to Canarias, with a competitive and highly robust operational proposal. Our flight program is designed to respond to the real needs of our resident customers and continue supporting tourism," states Isabel Rodríguez, commercial director of Iberia Express.
Rodríguez also highlighted that "for those who live on the islands, flying is part of their daily life, and that is why we continue expanding options, increasing frequencies and facilitating international connections that allow them to travel with greater comfort and flexibility”,
So far this year, the airline has operated close to 500 flights with Lanzarote, reaching an average punctuality on departures of 94.26%.
