The first Sunday of May is Mother's Day, which this year is the 4th, a time when mothers are the protagonists and their children thank them for everything they have done and continue to do for them.

According to a study by the company specializing in giving experiences, aladinia.com, each Spaniard will spend an average of 72 euros on gifts for Mother's Day and seven out of ten will buy only one gift.

Specifically, 68% of Spaniards will give their mother only one gift this year, while 21% will give two and 11% will give three or more.

Although the average is 72 euros, 17% of respondents plan to spend more than 100 euros and 34% less than 50 euros.

Regarding the way of buying, once again, the children will mostly do it online, 44% will do everything through their mobile devices, tablets or computers, while 16% will only buy in physical stores, while 40% of them will choose to combine both ways.

Preparation is still very important for children, since 55% of respondents will look for their gifts with a list made previously, comparing prices and looking for offers, only 14% will do it impulsively, taking what they like most at that moment.

Only 7% will buy guided by the recommendations of social networks or influencers, while 15% will be influenced by what friends and family think. Only 9% will buy what they see discounted.
