The HiperDino supermarket chain has opened a new Hiperdino Express in Playa Blanca, which has involved an investment of 678,000 euros and the hiring of eight employees. It is located on the Paseo Marítimo La Sal, has 220 square meters of sales area.
Among the sections it has, it has fruit shop, bakery and winery, in addition to a wide assortment of products aimed especially at the visiting public.
The company has explained that "continuing with the implementation of environmentally friendly measures, large windows have been installed on the facade for maximum use of natural light and LED lighting throughout the room, doors on cold walls to promote temperature conservation and energy saving, and the use of transcritical CO2 cold in machinery to contribute to energy efficiency", among other measures.
The store's hours are Monday to Sunday, from 08:00 to 22:00.
HiperDino currently has 244 stores throughout the archipelago and works with more than 13,000 references, of which 40% correspond to local suppliers.
In addition, it is the leading company in the creation of jobs in the Canary Islands with more than 9,000 workers.
