The Canarian Employment Service (SCE) has announced subsidies, for the first time with a multi-year character, for company training programs valued at eight million euros, distributed during the period 2022-2023, with four million in each year.

Signed by Councilor Elena Máñez as president of the SCE, the resolution published this week in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC), contemplates the granting of aid in a competitive concurrence regime to companies and training entities during 2022 and next year with five deadlines for submitting applications through the electronic headquarters of the autonomous administration.

Among the various requirements of the training actions in the catalog of specialties not leading to obtaining a certificate of professionality, with mandatory inclusion of subjects such as job placement, environmental awareness or gender equality, a commitment to hire 40% of the final students for six months is highlighted as minimum in case of full-time and nine months part-time.

The deadlines will be: 20 business days from Thursday, June 9 and from September 15 to October 14, for the current year and, between January 20 and February 28, from May 10 to June 16, and September 15 to October 16, for the following year.
