Binter has scheduled 198 flights to offer its customers 14,256 additional seats in the Canary Islands between March 22 and April 1, in order to respond to the increase in demand that occurs during Easter Week.
In the specific case of Lanzarote, the Canarian airline has scheduled 50 additional flights on connections between Lanzarote and Tenerife North, while 32 flights have been added to Gran Canaria. In addition, there will be 4 flights from Lanzarote to Madeira in the last week of March.
During these eleven days, the airline will operate a total of 2,448 flights on inter-island routes, with an offer of 176,256 seats, which represents an increase of 9% over the company's usual schedule in the islands and 6% over that of Easter Week of the previous year.
The days with the greatest reinforcement are Wednesday the 27th, with 60 additional flights; Saturday the 23rd, with 46 extra flights; Saturday the 30th, with 42; and Thursday the 28th and Monday the 1st, with 38 additional flights per day.
By routes, Binter has scheduled 50 additional flights on connections between Lanzarote and Tenerife North and between Gran Canaria and La Palma. For the route between Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, 32 flights have been added and 28 for the one that connects Fuerteventura with Tenerife North. The route between La Palma and Tenerife North will have 18 additional flights; those of Fuerteventura and El Hierro with Gran Canaria, 12 each; that of El Hierro with Tenerife North and Tenerife South with Gran Canaria, 10 in both cases; and two that of Gran Canaria with La Gomera.
16 additional flights with Madeira
In the international sphere, the airline has reinforced connectivity between the Canary Islands and Madeira with 16 additional flights and 1,152 seats.
Between March 23 and 31, four flights will be made on the routes that connect the islands of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Tenerife South and Madeira respectively. An additional frequency has also been scheduled between Gran Canaria and Madeira on Saturdays, which will mean four additional flights between both destinations.
