Puerto Calero will premiere "the largest beach in the Canary Islands for cultural and leisure events"

From next Saturday, September 7, until September 15, the residents and visitors of Lanzarote will have "the largest beach in the Canary Islands for cultural and leisure events". This natural space is already taking shape in Puerto Calero and has been created by DO Unique events in collaboration with Garden Center Fuerteventura, with the intention of becoming "a new meeting point for nature and culture lovers".

The "new beach" will host three cultural days throughout the week with important activities and musical performances. "A new concept of leisure, inclusive sport and environmental education unique in the Canary Islands, which will combine entertainment, solidarity and training", the organizers highlight.

This initiative has been launched by DO Unique events, Arenao C&M, Garden Center and Oasis WildLife Fuerteventura and includes large royal palm trees, large coconut trees and 60 varieties of plants that will serve to recreate this great beach, where 300 tons of quarry sand from Industrial Canarias de Forjados will be deposited.

Music and nature

This nature space will open on September 7 with the Monkey Tour, an event with DJs for a young audience who want to experience music in a magical environment.
