Supermercados Marcial is a 100% Lanzarote company with more than 60 years of history behind it. The company began selling in its first little store located in the heart of Arrecife, on Canalejas Street. It was a neighborhood store managed by the founder of the family, Don Marcial González. That entrepreneurial spirit that characterized him, together with the effort and dedication of the whole family, made the company prosper and expand its business.
More than 20 years ago they decided to join the SPAR and EUROSPAR commercial banner, coinciding in values such as closeness, freshness and quality that they had already been working on.
Currently, Supermercados Marcial generates more than 600 direct jobs and is supplied by local distributors and suppliers, something very important and that undoubtedly provides many indirect jobs. It sells local products in all its establishments on the island, promoting local activity and commerce, and therefore, contributing significantly to the economic and social growth of the islands.
To commemorate our day, Spar Lanzarote has prepared amazing offers with local products and products from the islands; to celebrate it as we like it most, with family and eating. If you are planning to make a delicious sancocho, take advantage of their offers: salted corvina, potatoes, gofio ... or if you prefer to light the grill you will also find savings prices in the butcher shop.
They have also thought of the little ones, carrying out the 4th Children's Drawing Contest. This year, due to the circumstances experienced by Covid-19, the contest will be held through their Spar Lanzarote facebook page and all children between the ages of 3 and 13 will be able to participate. The most voted drawing will be proclaimed the winner and will win the prize of a fantastic bicycle. If you have not yet participated and are interested, you are in time until June 2!
