Throughout 2025, over a thousand consultations related to the different services of the Entrepreneurial Itinerary were handled. This is one of the flagship programs for those who want to start a business, driven by the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, through its Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship Advisory Service.

This program supports those who wish to start a business project and offers specialized guidance at each stage, from the initial idea to the first steps with the company already established. Among the most requested services is initial consultation. This year, 1,003 people came to it with their business idea, seeking guidance. Another highly demanded service is information on financing and support in processing grants and subsidies, which assisted 1,084 users in 2025, for which 238 feasibility and business plans were developed. More than 200 people participated in the training section, having the opportunity to acquire knowledge in key business competencies. Additionally, 36 individuals received personalized business coaching after starting their activity as self-employed professionals.

A complete and free tour to start a business with guarantees

The Entrepreneurial Itinerary is designed to provide practical answers to the real needs of entrepreneurs. Users access useful information, technical advice, training adapted to market realities, and support after starting their activity. This completely free service is possible thanks to funding from the Canary Employment Service of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.

“We want every entrepreneur to feel supported, with real tools to start and sustain their business,” explains Julieta Fernández, coordinator of the Chamber’s entrepreneurship area. “The key is to listen, provide practical answers, and try to help people who often feel alone when facing important decisions,” she adds.

Entrepreneurial Itinerary

The Entrepreneurial Itinerary of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa also relies on the One-Stop Business Shop service to process registration as self-employed workers in a single location. The service includes advanced, high-impact training in business skills. Additionally, personalized support is provided to those who have already started their activity and need assistance to consolidate their business.

Who can access

The Entrepreneurship Advisory Service, run by the Chamber of Commerce, is aimed at individuals residing in Lanzarote or La Graciosa who are unemployed or employed, but always registered as job seekers or service seekers, maintaining this commitment since 2006, consolidating itself as an island benchmark in support of entrepreneurship and self-employment.
