As a result of the latest resolution of the Government of the Canary Islands, which leaves Lanzarote and Fuerteventura without PER and PNB exams this year, Academia Náutica Lanzarote and Bitácora have been forced to reorganize the courses planned for this summer season:
- Navigation license. We are currently running courses to obtain this license (6 meters in length), two days a week from the port of Marina Lanzarote. The schedules and days are organized according to the preferences of the groups.
- PER AND PNB. (8 meters and 15 in length). Taking into account that the exams will be in Las Palmas and Tenerife, on October 10 and November 7 of this year, we will begin preparing these courses on September 15. We remind you that anyone who wants to present themselves in these calls, MUST REGISTER BEFORE JULY 15. Students who want to enroll in these courses can go to Academia Náutica Bitacora, and we will help them with the processing of their registration.
- PER and PNB practices. PER and PNB practices will begin at the end of July, taking advantage of the summer season, after the October and November exams, we will hold another practice session.
- 24 meter extension practices. Depends on the groups.
- Sailing qualification practices. July 25 and 26.
- Basic safety training. Mandatory course for anyone who wants to carry out a professional activity at sea. From July 13 to 24.
- Update on Basic Safety Training. July 20, 21 and 22.
- Passenger and RORO Ships. Mandatory course for those who wish to carry out a professional activity on board cruise ships and ferries. From August 3 to 7.
- Passenger and RORO Ships Update. August 4 and 5.
- Basic Protection Training. August 4 and 5 afternoon.
- Restricted Radio Operator of the GMDSS. From July 20 to 27.
Academia Náutica Lanzarote achieved a 92% pass rate in the P.E.R. 2019
Academia Náutica Lanzarote and Bitácora remind their clients and students that, due to capacity limitations in the classrooms, the courses that were normally held at the Costa Teguise academy are being moved to Academia Náutica Bitacora, so Academia Náutica Lanzarote, in Costa Teguise, will remain closed until there is a normalization regarding COVID 19.
