The Vice President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Domínguez, from the PP, has accused this Thursday the Executive of Pedro Sánchez of having mechanisms to solve the problem of Maricarmen, the evicted woman in Madrid, and not doing so because "everything that implies a row, confrontation, demonstration suits him well".
That "suits Pedro Sánchez well and, moreover, he provokes it," said the leader of the PP in the Canary Islands, who considered that he has not acted to resolve the situation of this 87-year-old woman deliberately, because "the Government of Spain has an immediate solution" to intervene in such cases: the state housing entity Casa 47.
And "through that he could act to satisfy that need that many people certainly have" to guarantee their right to a home, Manuel Domínguez insisted.
Domínguez, who this Thursday inaugurated the first Congress of the European Pact for the Ocean of the Canary Islands, opined that "the situation in Ceuta, the situation in Madrid, everything that implies a row, confrontation, demonstration, suits Pedro Sánchez well and, moreover, he provokes it".
The popular leader insisted on pointing out that the Spanish Government "has not acted in Ceuta because it suits him, because he considers that it divides society, confronts communities, confronts political parties and positions him".
He opined that Sánchez "is not going to do anything there (Ceuta), nor with the situation in Madrid."
