The Canary Islands have registered a total of 5,236 cases since the health crisis caused by the coronavirus began, 246 of them counted in the last 24 hours, with 2,504 of those positives active in the archipelago, which is 240 more than a day ago.

This is clear from the data that the Canary Islands Ministry of Health provides daily after 2:00 p.m. on the incidence of the virus in the community. In this sense, it is stated that of the 2,504 active cases in the Canary Islands, 20 are in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while 122 are on the hospital floor and 2,362 are under surveillance at home.

Regarding deaths from the virus, no deaths have been reported in the last day, so it remains at 168 deaths; while 2,563 people, including six in the last day, have been discharged from the hospital.
