The Canary Islands has added a total of six deaths of people with coronavirus since Tuesday, four of them in Gran Canaria and two in Tenerife. The deceased, aged between 70 and 93 years old, had previous pathologies and were in hospital admission.
On the other hand, the archipelago has registered in these three days 1,362 new positives in Covid-19 among people over 60 years of age, which is the only population group that is being monitored after passing the acute phase of the pandemic.
The Cumulative Incidence for this age group at 14 days is 831.39 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days is 443.96.
Currently, in the archipelago there are 230 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 12 are in the ICU and the rest, 218, in the ward.
