The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has invited all travelers in the world to visit the Canary Islands, highlighting that it is a "safe destination" that has its high season in winter.
In the opening session of the Conference 'Setting in motion the recovery of international tourism', which is being held this Monday in La Palma, Pedro Sánchez stressed that the islands "have developed for decades a tourism sector of enormous quality and enormous attraction for the millions of citizens who visit them every year."
"That is why we say 'back to the Canary Islands'; it is time to find in this land a space of security and rest thanks to the tourist corridors and the effort that public administrations and the entire tourism sector have developed in these months," the president stressed.
