One dead, six newly diagnosed and 51 cured this Friday in the Canary Islands

The update of coronavirus data by the Ministry of Health at 8:00 p.m. this Friday raises the deaths to 156 in the Canary Islands since the beginning of the pandemic

One person has died this Friday from coronavirus in the Canary Islands, according to the data from the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands updated at 2:00 p.m. After three blank days, deaths return with one in Gran Canaria. Since the deaths began on March 13, there have been 156 in the Canary Islands. The week's count shows three deaths, after closing the previous week with four and a record of five consecutive days without deaths.

With six diagnosed in the day, the total since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 2,318. The discharges, with 51 more than the previous day, amount to 1,733. As for active cases, the registry subtracts 43 from Thursday's figure and stands at 472.
